EVENTS

In addition to Sunday worship, special events are held from time to time at Christ Church, some traditional and some new. Our beautiful chapel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, may be used for baptisms, confirmations, weddings, and memorial services of all faiths, concerts and recitals.

Taize Services

If the idea of a peaceful half hour in beautiful candlelit Christ Church with lovely music from the Taize Monastery in France appeals to you, please join us at 5:00 pm on the dates above. The concert is free and attire is casual.

Anniversary Sunday

August 9

Each year, the first Sunday in August celebrates the founding of Christ Church in 1892 by John Turner Atterbury, Jeffrey R. Brackett, William Ingham, William Ellis Scull, and Dexter Tiffany.

In 2026 we celebrate the 133rd anniversary of Christ Church.
